Terms of Service & Acceptable Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use Policy below (together, the “Terms”) govern your use of GlowTranslate (the “Service”), operated by Alpenglow AI. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

GlowTranslate is an AI-powered video/audio translation, dubbing, and localization service that processes media and text you provide. AI output can be inaccurate or unexpected — you are responsible for reviewing all output before you use, publish, or distribute it.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree that you will not upload, generate, or distribute content that:

• Uses a real person's voice or likeness without consent — including translating, dubbing, cloning, or creating a digital twin of any real person without their permission. You must have all necessary rights and consents for every person in the media you upload.
• Depicts a public figure deceptively — any celebrity, politician, or official in a misleading, defamatory, or unauthorized way.
• Is a deceptive deepfake — synthetic media that falsely portrays a real person saying or doing something they did not, or that could mislead viewers into believing it is authentic.
• Uses AI-generated or dubbed voices for deception — including robocalls, fraud, impersonation, or fabricated endorsements.
• Sexualizes any person without consent, or depicts a minor in a sexual or exploitative manner. Content that exploits or endangers children is strictly prohibited and reported to authorities.
• Is non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII).
• Infringes intellectual property — copyright, trademark, publicity/likeness, or other rights of any third party.
• Is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that violates any applicable law.

4. Your Representations

You represent and warrant that you own or have all rights, licenses, and consents necessary for any media, voice, likeness, or text you submit; that your use will not violate these Terms, any law, or any third party's rights; and that you are solely responsible for how you use and distribute output.

5. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Alpenglow AI and its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your uploads or output, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or any third party's rights (including publicity, privacy, or IP rights).

6. Enforcement, Reporting & Takedown

We use automated and manual measures to reduce misuse and may refuse, remove, or disable any content or account we believe violates these Terms. Anyone may report violating content via our report form; we prioritize reports involving non-consensual intimate imagery or minors. For copyright claims, contact our agent via the report form.

7. Disclaimers & Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alpenglow AI is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for content created by users.

8. Termination & Contact

We may suspend or terminate access for any violation. Prohibited-use violations may result in immediate termination and referral to law enforcement. Questions or abuse reports: report form.
